NITEC's primary purpose operates exclusively as a
non profit charitable organization to
support Educational
Programs & Projects.
Grants, Bursaries,
Endowments and or Donations may be disbursed for Educational
purposes such as New Immigrant Integration into the Workforce,
Improved Facilities, New Educational Programs, Scholarships,
Mentoring Programs and many
any other purposes approved for tax exempt status.
Educational
NITEC
for Educational Equity, Excellence and Research mission and purpose
is to further educational equity and multi-cultural understanding in
order to improve the quality of life for individuals and strengthen
our overall sense of community.
NITEC in accordance with its
basic purpose engages in the following pursuits:

Promotes careers in the
education profession by assisting New Immigrants and minority
students entering a program

Establishes public programs
with emphasis on diversity, to increase educational equity and
excellence

Identifies research
projects on issues relative to equal employment opportunities

Sponsorship Program
NITEC
supports the furtherance of educational equity
and multi-cultural understanding by:

Providing scholarships
to individuals entering the teaching profession.

Sponsoring
performances, lectures, conferences, and other educational
programs as a mechanism to increase multicultural understanding.

Supporting research
projects to examine equity and excellence in education.
Provide
financial support to enhance classroom learning
Support programs
or projects to meet the specialized needs of all students
Promote
community-wide volunteerism of time and talents to enhance
educational programs
Establish an
endowment to provide perpetual funding for educational
opportunities
